At the conclusion of last night’s episode of CTV’s MASTERCHEF CANADA featuring the third off-site challenge of the series, Dale Kuda, a household manager from Toronto, was eliminated from the culinary competition series.

The Top 10 home cooks are tasked with an incredible off-site challenge – prepping a delicious steak dinner for 151 troops using army field kitchens. As the intense off-site challenge unfolds, the blue team comes out victorious by a landslide when the red team fails to come up with enough sides for all 151 steak dinners. Back at the MasterChef Kitchen, the red team is forced to vote one member of their own team to safety. They bicker about who deserves the important spot, and it’s Marida who’s saved from the pressure test and possible elimination. The remaining members of the red team are forced to prepare and cook their best Salmon Wellington. Despite a nasty injury, Danielle executes the dish perfectly, with Julie close behind. Both Dale and Kaila make mistakes and get their salmon into the oven too late, but it’s ultimately Dale who gets sent home with a dish that failed to meet the MASTERCHEF CANADA standard.
Coming up on the next all-new episode of MASTERCHEF CANADA (Monday, March 17), the Top 9 home cooks raise their Mystery Boxes to reveal a jaw-dropping array of rare and challenging ingredients. They turn out to be a selection of the judges’ favourite culinary items culled from their own restaurant kitchens. The home cook who can get creative with ingredients like Durian, Sea Urchin, Squab and Kimchi will get to choose what everyone else tackles in the Elimination Challenge – and this time the inspiration lies a lot closer to home.
