CTV has THE 84th ANNUAL ACADEMY AWARDS® Covered From Feb. 23 to March 3

Toronto, ON (February 22, 2012) – Below is a full list of programs and specials airing on CTV, CTV Two, CTV.ca and E!, leading up to and following CTV’s exclusive broadcast of THE 84th ANNUAL ACADEMY AWARDS®. Thursday, Feb. 23
6 a.m. – 9 a.m. – CANADA AM (CTV)
CANADA AM gets a round-up of celebrity gossip from the queen of gossip, ETALK’s Lainey.

7 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. – ETALK (CTV)
Reporting from the ground in Los Angeles, Ben Mulroney and Lainey kick off ETALK’s comprehensive OSCAR coverage. ETALK checks out who’s running the best OSCAR campaign while taking a closer look at the ladies from The Help and their style evolution through this award season. Plus, ETALK brings viewers any breaking OSCAR news as it happens. ETALK also airs at 6 p.m. on E!.

Friday, Feb. 24
6 a.m. – 9 a.m. – CANADA AM (CTV)
CANADA AM gets a behind the scenes look at Autodesk – a Canadian special effects company that created the software used by every nominee in the special effects category. The CANADA AM Friday panel also throw in their two cents about what could make the Academy Awards night even better.

10 a.m. – 11 a.m. – THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW (CTV)
Encores at 11 a.m. on CTV Two
Marilyn’s beauty expert Chantel Guertin reveals celebrity beauty secrets viewers can look use to get red carpet ready for their own OSCAR parties. Then, ETALK reporter and gossip queen Lainey joins Marilyn’s relationship therapist Ashley Howe to discuss “the best actress curse.”

1 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – ETALK FASHION FIX: A DECADE AT THE OSCARS (CTV)
Encores at 1:30 p.m. on CTV Two and 6:30 p.m. on E!
Remembering the past 10 years of red carpet haute couture, ETALK anchor Ben Mulroney, along with Lainey and Traci Melchor, celebrate ETALK’s 10th Anniversary season with a look back at the highs and lows of OSCAR fashion, hosted by Tanya Kim.

7 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. – ETALK (CTV)
ETALK anchors Ben Mulroney and Tanya Kim, along with Lainey, report from the ground in Los Angeles bringing viewers the very latest in OSCAR news. As Hollywood’s biggest night approaches, the hosts also weigh in on their favourites to win the golden statue. ETALK also airs at 6 p.m. on E!.

Saturday, Feb. 25
12 p.m. – 1 p.m. – THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW (CTV Two)
In an encore from Feb. 20, Marilyn’s ‘entertaining’ expert and celebrity event planner Sebastien Centner shows viewers how to create the perfect stage for hosting an OSCAR award show party.

4 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. – ETALK PRESENTS: OSCARS 2012 (CTV)
ETALK delivers a crash course in all-things OSCAR. From who’s expected to walk away with OSCAR gold, to who will be best dressed, and what host Billy Crystal has up his sleeve, ETALK gets viewers prepped for the big night.

Sunday, Feb. 26
1 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – IN FASHION (CTV Two)
In an encore from Feb. 19, IN FASHION breaks down the high costs fro celebrities to get red carpet ready. The episode will also include interviews with Top Canadian designers as they give viewers their take on what Best Actress Nominees will wear to the OSCARS, including red carpet rookies Jessica Chastain and Mara Rooney.

1:30 p.m. – COUNTDOWN TO THE RED CARPET: THE 2012 ACADEMY AWARDS (E!)
E! offers viewers an in-depth look at the nominees for the 2012 OSCARS.

1:30 p.m. – 2 p.m. – FASHION TELEVISION (CTV Two)
In an encore from Feb. 19 episode, an interview with Madonna’s stylist and Academy Award-nominee for Costume Design for the film W.E, Arianne Philips, as well as predictions on what stars will wear on the red carpet.

4 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. – FASHION TELEVISION (CTV and CTV Mobile)
FASHION TELEVISION takes a look at the Costume Design nominees, and has predictions on which designers will be worn on the red carpet. The show also looks at how both OSCAR nominated films The Artist and Hugo are influencing today’s fashion.

4:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. – ETALK FASHION FIX: A DECADE AT THE OSCARS (CTV and CTV Mobile)

5:30 p.m. – LIVE FROM THE RED CARPET: THE 2012 ACADEMY AWARDS (E!)
Hosted by E! NEWS’ Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic, LIVE FROM THE RED CARPET is the ultimate pre-show extravaganza and is one of E!'s most recognized programming events, airing in more than 160 countries around the world. LIVE FROM THE RED CARPET gives viewers a golden seat for the OSCARS red carpet.

6 p.m. – 7 p.m. – CTV AT THE OSCARS (CTV and CTV Mobile)
As the only Canadian outlet on the red carpet, CTV brings viewers all the red carpet action from the coveted second position on the carpet. Hosted by ETALK anchor Ben Mulroney, who will be positioned on the carpet, Leah Miller joins him to report from an exclusive position on the balcony with a birds eye view of all the arrivals. ELLE magazine creative director, Canadian Joe Zee, also joins Leah on the balcony to dish on all the red carpet fashion.

6 – 7:30 p.m. – CTV AT THE OSCARS (OSCARS.CTV.CA)

6 p.m. to end of THE 84TH ANNUAL ACADEMY AWARDS

Robin Roberts, Tim Gunn, Louise Roe, Jess Cagle and Nina Garcia host OSCARS RED CARPET LIVE. This marks Roe and Garcia's first time hosting, while Roberts, Gunn and Cagle return for their third OSCARS. Covering all red carpet fashion, the team also talks to the biggest stars on the carpet.

8:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. – THE 84TH ANNUAL ACADEMY AWARDS (CTV)
Live from the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, Billy Crystal returns to the stage for his ninth stint as host for THE 84th ANNUAL ACADEMY AWARDS, where the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences honours film industry achievements from the past year. THE 84th ANNUAL ACADEMY AWARDS airs live across Canada.

ETALK’s Ben Mulroney joins CANADA AM live from Los Angeles to recap all the highs and lows from Oscar night.

9 a.m. – 10 a.m. – LIVE! WITH KELLY’S AFTER OSCAR SHOW (CTV)
Broadcast live from the Kodak Theatre, Kelly Ripa and her co-host Neil Patrick Harris get the low-down on the festivities from the winners and presenters. They’re also joined by a special fashion panel including Isaac Mizrahi, Maria Menounos and Lawrence Zarian, who recap OSCARS legendary red carpet, and showcase the fabulous gowns, shoes and jewelry of the ceremony's A-List attendees.

1 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – ETALK FASHION FIX: A DECADE AT THE OSCARS (CTV)

10 p.m. – 11 p.m. – FASHION POLICE: THE 2012 ACADEMY AWARDS (E!)
Following the biggest awards show in Hollywood, celebrity fashion correspondent Joan Rivers and her outspoken panel of fashionistas, including Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic, and George Kotsiopoulos, recap all the red carpet fashion – holding no opinion back.
