LIVE! WITH KELLY Announces Coast-to-Coast North American Co-Host Search

Toronto, ON (June 12, 2012) – The popular morning show LIVE! WITH KELLY announces a search for one lucky viewer to have the chance to go from watching LIVE! at home, to co-hosting for a day with Kelly Ripa during “LIVE’s Coast-To-Coast Co-Host Search.” CTV.ca/LiveWithKelly offers viewers the full contest experience where Canadians can get the chance to enter the contest in hopes of co-hosting with the beloved Kelly Ripa. LIVE! WITH KELLY airs weekdays at 9 a.m. ET on CTV (visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times).

Beginning June 11, 2012, viewers can submit video entries, online or by mail, of up to 60 seconds in length, demonstrating why they should have a chance to co-host with Kelly. Participants are encouraged to be creative and show-off their best hosting techniques, and must be 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of Canada or The United States (check CTV.ca/LiveWithKelly for all contest details). After all of the entries are reviewed, many will be available in a viewing gallery on the CTV.ca/LiveWithKelly website during the week of July 3. The top 10 semi-finalist videos are selected and announced on July 9, and then it is up to the LIVE! audience to weigh-in on their top 5 favourite video submissions.

The top 5 finalists are announced on July 11, and the co-host hopefuls travel to New York during the week of July 16 to compete for a chance to become Kelly’s guest co-host on July 24.
