CTV Programming Highlights: Nov. 1-4
November begins with all-new episodes of THE BIG BANG THEORY, TWO AND A HALF MEN, LAW & ORDER: SVU, FLASHPOINT, CSI: NY, GRIMM, BLUE BLOODS, W5, THE NEIGHBORS, ONCE UPON A TIME, THE AMAZING RACE, THE MOB DOCTOR, and THE MENTALIST on CTV. • BIG BANG NIGHT ON CTV continues Saturdays with themed back-to-back episodes of Canada’s #1 television series, THE BIG BANG THEORY. Relationships are tested in the “Nerds And The Women Who Love Them” themed episodes (Nov. 3)
• Emma (Jennifer Morrison) takes a journey with a not-too-trustworthy Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue, The Rite) up a treacherous beanstalk on ONCE UPON A TIME (Nov. 4)

Thursday, Nov. 1
8 p.m. – THE BIG BANG THEORY – “The Extract Obliteration” – NEW EPISODE
Sheldon’s (Jim Parsons) relationship with theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking (Into the Universe with Stephen Hawking) is threatened over a game of Words With Friends, and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) secretly enrols in a class at the local college.
8:30 p.m. – TWO AND A HALF MEN – “Ferrets, Attack!” – NEW EPISODE
Walden (Ashton Kutcher) has to choose between Rose (Melanie Lynskey) and Zoey (Sophie Winkleman).
9 p.m. – LAW & ORDER: SVU – “Friending Emily” – NEW EPISODE – SPECIAL DAY
An underage girl disappears after following her older sister to a college party in Manhattan. The SVU detectives mobilize to recover the missing girl, but find themselves thwarted by a high-tech kidnapper using the Internet to cover his tracks.
10 p.m. – FLASHPOINT – “Forget Oblivion” – NEW EPISODE
A young man, cursed with a perfect memory, is abducted and forced to penetrate a high-tech research facility and memorize the design of a new ‘smart gun.’ Ed (Hugh Dillon) risks his life to save him as Team One faces off against a weapon they’ve never seen before, and a criminal desperate enough to use it.
Friday, Nov. 2
7 p.m. – ETALK PRESENTS: THE TWILIGHT SAGA BREAKING DAWN PART 2In ETALK PRESENTS: THE TWILIGHT SAGA BREAKING DAWN PART 2, ETALK anchor Ben Mulroney sits down with the cast of The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 2 including Robert Pattinson (Water for Elephants) and Kristen Stewart (Snow White and the Huntsman) for an exclusive Canadian interview, just days before their epic summer scandal. Together, R-Patz and K-Stew reflect on the Twilight phenomenon, their on and off screen love story, and what fans can expect from the final instalment. Plus, Taylor Lautner (Abduction) opens up about almost losing the role as Jacob and how he transformed his body to secure the part.
8 p.m. – CSI: NY– “The Lady in the Lake” – NEW EPISODE
The CSIs investigate a twisted fairy tale when a woman in a ball gown is found at the bottom of the pond outside Belvedere Castle in Central Park.
9 p.m. – GRIMM – “The Hour of Death” – NEW EPISODE
When a brutal vigilante homicide is made public, it sends Portland’s Wesen community into a frenzy. Nick (David Giuntoli) investigates further and discovers a pattern similar to a particularly brutal line of past Grimms.
10 p.m. – BLUE BLOODS – “Greener Grass” – NEW EPISODE

Saturday, Nov. 3
7 p.m. – W5 – “The Throwaway Children” – NEW EPISODE
W5 investigates horrific stories of abuse and terror at a home that was meant to protect vulnerable children.
BIG BANG NIGHT ON CTV continues featuring themed back-to-back episodes of THE BIG BANG THEORY. This week relationships are tested in the “Nerds And The Women Who Love Them” themed episodes:
8 p.m. – THE BIG BANG THEORY – “The Rhinitis Revelation” – BIG BANG NIGHT ON CTV
Sheldon (Jim Parsons) competes with the gang for his mother’s (Golden Globe®-nominee Laurie Metcalf, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES) attention when she comes to visit.
8:30 p.m. – THE BIG BANG THEORY – “The Flaming Spittoon Acquisition” – BIG BANG NIGHT ON CTV
Sheldon (Jim Parsons) considers taking his relationship with Amy (Mayim Bialik) to the next level when Stuart (Kevin Sussman) from the comic book store asks her out on a date.
9 p.m. – THE BIG BANG THEORY – “The Pancake Batter Anomaly” – BIG BANG NIGHT ON CTV
When Sheldon (Jim Parsons) gets sick, Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and the boys know what’s in store and avoid him like the plague, leaving an unsuspecting Penny (Kaley Cuoco) to nurse the world’s worst patient back to health.
9:30 – THE BIG BANG THEORY – “The Tangerine Factor” – BIG BANG NIGHT ON CTV
When Leonard (Johnny Galecki) asks Penny (Kaley Cuoco) out on a date, and she says yes, they each seek the “wisdom” of reluctant advisor, Sheldon (Jim Parsons).
10 p.m. – THE NEIGHBORS – “Larry Bird and the Iron Throne” – NEW EPISODE
Jackie Joyner-Kersee (Toks Olagundoye) tries her best to help as Debbie (Jami Gertz) whips herself into a frenzy planning the perfect birthday for little Abby (Isabella Cramp). Meanwhile, Larry (Simon Templeman) shadows Marty (Lenny Venito) at work for a day, and a smitten Reggie Jackson (Tim Jo) tries to find the perfect gift for Amber (Clara Mamet).
Sunday, Nov. 4
7 p.m. – ONCE UPON A TIME – “Tallahassee” – NEW EPISODE
With hopes of finding a magical compass that could help her and Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) get back to Storybrook, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) takes a journey with Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue, The Rite) up a beanstalk to steal the item from a murderous giant (Jorge Garcia, LOST).
8 p.m. – THE AMAZING RACE – NEW EPISODE

9 p.m. – THE MOB DOCTOR – “Change of Heart” – NEW EPISODE
Dr. Grace Devlin (Jordana Spiro) must save the life of an old friend injured in a pub-crawl accident, but is also tasked by Constantine (William Forsythe) to deliver the child of a pregnant call girl. Meanwhile, Franco (James Carpinello) has to track down a young woman whose whereabouts are crucial to his boss.
10 p.m. – THE MENTALIST– “Cherry Picked” – NEW EPISODE
The team investigates the kidnapping of a couple, while Jane (Simon Baker) continues his investigation into Lorelei’s (Emmanuelle Chriqui, ENTOURAGE) whereabouts.
