Programming Highlights for Jan. 17-31 on CTV include:
• BIG BANG NIGHT ON CTV continues with themed back-to-back episodes of Canada’s #1 television series, THE BIG BANG THEORY. The gang’s sportsmanship is tested in the “Geeks Get their Game On” themed episodes (Jan. 19)
• Charlie (Charlie Sheen) blows up at his sister’s baby shower in ANGER MANAGEMENT on a special day and time (Jan. 20)
• When a notorious serial killer (James Purefoy) escapes from death row, the FBI calls on former agent Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) in the super-simulcast premiere of THE FOLLOWING (Jan. 21) on CTV and CTV Two

9 p.m. – THE FOLLOWING – “Pilot” – SERIES PREMIERE
When notorious serial killer Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) escapes from death row and embarks on a new killing spree, the FBI calls former agent Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon), a psychologically-scarred veteran who captured Carroll nine years earlier, after Carroll murdered 14 female students on a college campus where he taught literature. Knowing Carroll better than anyone, Hardy works closely with an FBI team, and soon discovers that Carroll was not only communicating with a network of killers in the outside world, but has much more planned than just a prison escape. The series also stars Richmond, B.C.-native Shawn Ashmore (X-Men). THE FOLLOWING makes its highly anticipated debut Jan. 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT in super-simulcast on both CTV and CTV Two.
10 p.m. – CASTLE – “Death Gone Crazy”– NEW EPISODE
Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) enter the world of adult entertainment when the founder of “College Girls Gone Crazy” is murdered.
Tuesday, Jan. 22
8 p.m. – THE TASTE – SERIES PREMIERE (PART 1)
The all-new one-hour cooking competition series puts 16 culinary competitors – pro chefs to home cooks – to the fire when four of the world's most notable masters of the food world judge their creations based on a blind taste test. THE TASTE features four culinary superstars including no-holds barred chef Anthony Bourdain, British food star Nigella Lawson, expert chef and author Ludo Lefebvre, and chef/restaurateur Brian Malarkey as mentors. In the series premiere, the pressure is on when the judges put 29 professional chefs and home cooks through their first gruelling round of blind taste tests – in which just a single spoonful decides whether or not they make it past the audition phase and into the competition.
9 p.m. – HOT IN CLEVELAND – “Rubber Ball” – NEW EPISODE
When Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli), Joy (Jane Leeves) and Victoria (Wendie Malick) try to join a prestigious Cleveland country club, they discover that Elka (Betty White) has a long history with the club's president (Golden Globe® Award-winner Ed Asner, MARY TYLER MOORE), and he’s bent on revenge.

When Shania (Bebe Wood) meets Rocky’s (NeNe Leakes) new crush, Chris (Mark Consuelos, ALL MY CHILDREN), she claims that her “gaydar” is going off and that Chris might be more interested in men.
10 p.m. – CRIMINAL MINDS – “Magnum Opus” – NEW EPISODE
While Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) copes with a loss in his personal life, the rest of the BAU travels to San Francisco to investigate victims discovered in the Mission District.
Wednesday, Jan. 23
7 p.m. – ARROW – “Trust but Verify” – NEW EPISODE
The next person on Arrow’s (Stephen Amell) list is Diggle’s (David Ramsey) commanding officer and mentor from Afghanistan, Ted Gaynor (Ben Browder, STARGATE SG-1). Oliver suspects Ted is responsible for recent armoured truck robberies, but Diggle defends Ted and takes a job at Ted’s security company to keep an eye on him.
8 p.m. – AMERICAN IDOL – NEW EPISODE
The AMERICAN IDOL auditions continue as the judges continue in their quest to find the next singing superstar.
10 p.m. – CSI – “Double Fault” – NEW EPISODE
The CSIs are surprised to hear Hodges (Wallace Langham) is engaged to an Italian bombshell (super model Catrinel Menghia). This episode also includes appearances from Grand Slam Champion Chris Evert, three-time Grand Slam Champion Lindsay Davenport, and announcer, and former tennis pro Justin Gimelstob who guest star as themselves.

9 p.m. – GREY’S ANATOMY – “Walking on a Dream” – NEW EPISODE
The Seattle Grace doctors are on edge when a new medical professional enters the hospital. Plus, Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) struggles with the emotional and physical pain of a phantom limb, and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) is confronted with her worst fear.

Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon), Agent Mike Weston (Shawn Ashmore), and FBI Specialist Debra Parker (Annie Parisse), who is brought in to lead the investigation into Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) and his followers, dive deeper into the history of Carroll's psyche. To do so, they enlist the help of Carroll's ex-wife, and Hardy's former love, Claire Matthews (Natalie Zea). Meanwhile, Emma (Valorie Curry), Jacob (Nico Tortorella) and Paul (Adan Canto) keep Claire's son Joey (Kyle Catlett) at a house in the country as they prepare for their next move.
