CTV Programming Highlights: Feb. 21-27
February comes to an end with the series premiere of GOLDEN BOY and the season finale of CSI: NY. Plus all-new episodes of THE BIG BANG THEORY, TWO AND A HALF MEN, GREY’S ANATOMY, LAW & ORDER: SVU, SHARK TANK, BLUE BLOODS, W5, THE AMAZING RACE, ANGER MANAGEMENT, THE NEW NORMAL, THE FOLLOWING, CASTLE, THE TASTE, CRIMINAL MINDS, ARROW, AMERICAN IDOL, and CSI on CTV. Then, the most prestigious star-studded Hollywood event in entertainment returns with THE OSCARS®.

Thursday, Feb. 21
8 p.m. – THE BIG BANG THEORY – “The Monster Isolation” – NEW EPISODE
After a terrible date, Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar) vows to never leave his apartment. Meanwhile, Penny (Kaley Cuoco) actually impresses Sheldon (Jim Parsons) with her acting skills.
8:30 p.m. – TWO AND A HALF MEN – “Throgwarten Middle School Mysteries” – NEW EPISODE
When Walden (Ashton Kutcher) runs into his ex-wife (Judy Greer) at a high-end singles mixer and they talk about getting back together, Alan (Jon Cryer) worries that she's not good for Walden.
9 p.m. – GREY’S ANATOMY – “This is Why We Fight" – NEW EPISODE
As word of Seattle Grace Hospital’s financial trouble spread, Catherine (Debbie Allen) encourages Jackson to move to Boston, while the interns fear they might lose their jobs. Meanwhile, the doctors meet with a potential investor in a last-ditch effort to save the hospital.
10 p.m. – LAW & ORDER: SVU – “Dreams Deferred” – NEW EPISODE TO CTV
After a man goes on a killing rampage through New York, the lead FBI agent (Jason Gedrick, DEXTER) calls upon the SVU to find information on the suspect’s last known contact.
Friday, Feb. 22
8 p.m. – CSI: NY – “Today is Life” – SEASON FINALE
When commotion erupts in a community where an unarmed man was shot by the police, Mac (Gary Sinise) and the CSI team work as fast as possible to solve the case.
9 p.m. – SHARK TANK – NEW EPISODE
Three brothers envision a deal with their eyewear made from sustainable wood and a duck hunter enters into muddy waters when he pitches his camouflage clothing line.
10 p.m. – BLUE BLOODS – “Quid Pro Quo” – NEW EPISODE
Erin (Bridget Moynahan) and Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) investigate a cold case of a girl who was attacked by her rich and powerful boyfriend and never convicted. Meanwhile, Jamie’s (Will Estes) friend brings a lawsuit against Danny’s pal after an injury at a pick-up basketball game.
Saturday, Feb. 23
7 p.m. – W5 – NEW EPISODE
W5 exposes the story Ben Affleck’s seven-time Oscar®-nominated drama Argo didn't tell about Canadian heroism and daring in “The Reel Story.” Then, “What Lies Beneath” reveals the high risk that buried gas lines pose to homeowners.
Sunday, Feb. 24
6 p.m. – CTV AT THE OSCARS – LIVE
CTV AT THE OSCARS offers exclusive coverage as the only Canadian outlet on the OSCAR red carpet. As Canada’s official red carpet show, ETALK anchor Ben Mulroney returns as host, positioned on the carpet interviewing Hollywood’s most elite, while E! host Leah Miller returns to her exclusive position on the balcony with a birds-eye view of all the arrivals and red carpet action.
7 p.m. – THE AMAZING RACE – NEW EPISODE – SPECIAL TIME

8 p.m. – OSCAR’S RED CARPET LIVE! – LIVE
Emmy® and Tony® award-winning actress Kristin Chenoweth, Grammy® Award-winning singer Kelly Rowland, Entertainment Weekly Managing Editor Jess Cagle and GOOD MORNING AMERICA anchor Lara Spencer host OSCARS RED CARPET LIVE!. This marks Chenoweth’s, Roland’s, and Spencer’s first time hosting, while Cagle return for his forth OSCARS. Covering all red carpet fashions, the team also talks to the biggest stars on the carpet.
8:30 p.m. – THE OSCARS – LIVE
Live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, THE OSCARS honours excellence, and achievements in the film industry from the past year. Hosted by screen writer, producer, comedian, and director Seth MacFarlane, THE OSCARS will see some of Hollywood’s prestigious A-listers, including last year’s OSCAR winners Meryl Streep, Jean Dujardin, Octavia Spencer, and Canadian Christopher Plummer, grace the stage as presenters this year.
Monday, Feb. 25
8 p.m. – ANGER MANAGEMENT– “Charlie Dates a Teacher” – NEW EPISODE
Charlie (Charlie Sheen) begins dating his daughter’s (Daniela Bobadilla) teacher, despite her disapproval.
8:30 p.m. – THE NEW NORMAL – “Rocky Bye Baby” – NEW EPISODE – SPECIAL DAY AND TIME
Despite being completely against having a baby shower, Bryan (Andrew Rannells) and David (Justin Bartha) finally relent after seeing how much Shania (Bebe Wood), Goldie (Georgia King), and especially Rocky (NeNe Leakes), want to throw one for them.
9 p.m. – THE FOLLOWING – “The Fall” – NEW EPISODE
Joe Carroll’s (James Purefoy) true intentions are revealed via a new follower named Charlie (Tom Lipinski, SUITS). As Ryan (Kevin Bacon) learns of Joe’s plans, he tries to stall Emma (Valorie Curry), Jacob (Nico Tortorella), and Paul (Adan Canto) by taunting them in hopes of turning them against each other.
10 p.m. – CASTLE – “Hunt” – PART 2 – NEW EPISODE
When the FBI fails to get his daughter back, Castle (Nathan Fillion) takes matters into his own hands, reaching out to a shadowy fixer to help him recover Alexis (Molly Quinn). Plus, Castle soon learns that his daughter’s kidnapping may be part of an even more sinister agenda.
Tuesday, Feb. 26
8 p.m. – THE TASTE – “Nose to Tail” – NEW EPISODE
In the toughest challenge yet, no part of the animal is off limits and nothing goes to waste, as the remaining hopefuls are put to the test. Nine contestants will clearly reach out of their culinary comfort zones, before three chefs are sent home and six move on to the semi-finals.
9 p.m. – CRIMINAL MINDS – “Carbon Copy” – NEW EPISODE – SPECIAL TIME
When victims are found in Philadelphia in a similar style to victims of the stalker who has been tracking the BAU, the team thinks this could be the break they need to try catch him.
10 p.m. – GOLDEN BOY – “PILOT” – SERIES PREMIERE
As he is interviewed for a story about his career, Walter Clark, Jr. (Theo James) flashes back on his epic journey from homicide detective to the youngest police commissioner in the history of the NYPD.
Wednesday, Feb. 27
7 p.m. – ARROW – “Dead to Rights” – NEW EPISODE
Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Diggle (David Ramsey) learn that Deadshot (guest star Michael Rowe) is still alive and his next target is Malcom (John Barrowman). Malcom invites Tommy (Colin Donnell) to attend a benefit honouring him for his work with Starling City but Tommy refuses to attend. Oliver encourages his friend to mend his relationship with his father while he can.
8 p.m. – AMERICAN IDOL – TWO HOURS – NEW EPISODE
The remaining singing hopefuls try one last time to impress the celebrity judges to prove they deserve to make it to the next round on AMERICAN IDOL.
10 p.m. – CSI – “Last Woman Standing” – NEW EPISODE
When several prominent poker players lose their lives, the CSI team is called to investigate before more victims surface.
