2012 CTV Citizen Of The Year Award: Call For Nominations

Edmonton, AB (June 20, 2012) – The 2012 CTV Citizen Of The Year Award is now accepting nominations. Created in 2011 by CTV Edmonton in partnership with the Edmonton Heritage Festival Association, the CTV Citizen Of The Year Award recognizes one person each year who has contributed to the promotion, awareness, understanding and appreciation for cultural diversity in Edmonton.
Qualities appropriate for candidates for the award include:
• A willingness, responsibility and accountability for their work.
• A demonstrated long-term commitment to the mission of the Edmonton Heritage Festival Association toward cultural diversity).
To nominate an individual, a letter of recognition must be completed and signed by two (2) individuals by 5 p.m. on July 20, 2012. Letters can be emailed, faxed or mailed to:

The 2012 CTV Citizen Of The Year will be publically announced and recognized at the Swearing-in of New Canadians at Heritage Amphitheatre on Monday, August 6, during the Servus Heritage Festival.
